The tape said wait; the Panthers did not. Trey Wedig went at No. 232, a good 69 picks before the board was ready. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The Majors value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
