The tape said wait; the Panthers did not. Trey Knox went at slot 226, a good 62 picks before the board was ready. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

The Goncalves value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Christian Haynes and all.
