The Panthers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Panthers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. The process wobbled, and the D+ is where it lands.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Jones lower, and that gap is the story. The Henderson steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
