Nobody had Antwaun Powell-Ryland this high, and it is not close. The Panthers reached 46 spots to get him at the Round 4 slot.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
