No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Panthers.

The Panthers' one glaring miss is cornerback, a need they left exactly as they found it. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Jones has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Coleman pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
