A mixed bag for the Panthers, and a C+ to match.

The Panthers put a flag in the ground for Christian Haynes, 29 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Travis pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

If Christian Haynes and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
