A costly weekend of dealing drags the Panthers to a D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Panthers, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

The Gentry reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
