Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Panthers never addressed offensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

If Sainristil pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
