The tape said wait; the Panthers did not. Gabe Hall went at the Round 5 slot, a good 80 picks before the board was ready. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

Hit on Xavier Legette and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
