Draft Grade — Packers
Overall D
ValueC+ NeedB TradesF FutureB-
A costly weekend of dealing drags the Packers to a D.

Nobody else had Jacob Parrish anywhere near Round 4, Pick 27. The Packers did, by 88 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Kiser falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Benjamin Morrison
In Round 1, Pick 23 they get a potential shutdown corner, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick54 Rnd2 Josaiah Stewart
Josaiah Stewart at pick 54 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick59 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
A linebacker of that caliber at slot 59 is the definition of value, full stop. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick87 Rnd3 Aeneas Peebles
No drama and no debate, Aeneas Peebles went about where he belonged in the Round 3 slot. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick123 Rnd4 Tez Johnson
Tez Johnson at the 123rd overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick128 Rnd4 Jacob Parrish
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Jacob Parrish. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick136 Rnd4 Jonah Monheim
The board had cheaper options than Jonah Monheim at pick No. 136, and it noticed. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick160 Rnd5 Mitchell Evans
Mitchell Evans at the 160th overall pick is money in the bank, a tight end taken below his worth. The roster fit checks out.
Pick200 Rnd6 CJ West
CJ West at the 200th pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It fills a real need, too.
Pick239 Rnd7 Jack Kiser
Steal is underselling it; Jack Kiser at Round 7, Pick 21 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick251 Rnd7 Garrett Dellinger
They left a pile of value on the table to take Garrett Dellinger this early at No. 251. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
