The needs board said one thing and the Packers did another, using pick 91 on Dadrion Taylor-Demerson while cornerback, quarterback and other spots waited. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They will need Hampton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. However the rest shakes out, Tracy Jr. at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
