Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
