The Bengals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Kamari Ramsey fell into slot 110.

They will need Pride Jr. to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
