The Packers checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Packers never got to the one that mattered most. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The Cooper value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

In the 28th overall pick they get protection for the quarterback at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
