FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B to prove it. The Packers torched the value chart for Danny Stutsman, taking him 34 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Warren value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick23
Rnd1
Tyler Warren
In the 23rd overall pick they get a matchup weapon at tight end, and a steal at that.
Pick56
Rnd2
Danny Stutsman
This one needs a full-page explanation: Danny Stutsman in pick 56, miles early. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick89
Rnd3
Jake Majors
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jake Majors well ahead of where he belonged. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick108
Rnd4
Luke Kandra
They paid up for Luke Kandra at pick No. 108 when waiting would have done the job. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick123
Rnd4
Mello Dotson
Mello Dotson at No. 123 is a conviction pick that outran the value. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
