Nobody had Dallas Gant this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 66 spots to get him at the 255th pick. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Landing Devonshire that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Packers indulged a want in Smith while a need in edge rusher, quarterback and other spots stayed open.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
