The Packers won the night they stopped Williams from sliding. Grade: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Miyan Williams tumbling to the Packers in slot 225 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They will answer for taking safety early while quarterback, tight end and other spots went begging. The Jones pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Somehow Amarius Mims was still sitting there in pick No. 41, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It patches a soft spot without any drama.

They barely believed it either: Chop Robinson still on the board at the 57th overall pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.

Mike Sainristil in Round 3, Pick 25 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

No drama and no debate, Audric Estime went about where he belonged in the Round 3 slot. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
