The Packers reached for Rex and never recovered. Grade: F. The rest of the league had time to spare on Isaac Rex; the Packers did not wait, grabbing him 70 spots ahead at No. 248. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Getting Wallace where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left edge rusher open, and the grade is the bill.
