Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B+
ValueB- NeedB- TradesA+ FutureB
The Packers robbed the room for Emmanwori. Final grade: B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Packers came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Landing Emmanwori that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick28 Rnd1 Emery Jones Jr.
In slot 28 they get a long-term starter on the line at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick55 Rnd2 Tate Ratledge
By-the-book stuff, Tate Ratledge at pick 55 squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick87 Rnd3 Clay Webb
Clay Webb in Round 3, Pick 23 is fair value, right on his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick88 Rnd3 Samuel Brown
Samuel Brown at No. 88 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick119 Rnd4 Aireontae Ersery
Good price on Aireontae Ersery in the Round 4 slot, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick124 Rnd4 Jaxson Dart
Circle this one: Jaxson Dart at the 124th pick is a fall that decides a draft. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick151 Rnd5 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori at Round 5, Pick 23 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick156 Rnd5 Aeneas Peebles
A market-rate interior defensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Aeneas Peebles. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick183 Rnd6 Francisco Mauigoa
A straight-up fair deal on Francisco Mauigoa at No. 183, value and slot in agreement. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick215 Rnd7 Fentrell Cypress II
Value with a capital V on Fentrell Cypress II in pick No. 215, a genuine coup. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
