Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jeffrey Bassa got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at the 200th pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The cost of the Williams reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
