The Dont'e Thornton Jr. pick is the one that will follow the Packers into the fall. They took him 26 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Grant at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The Packers paired the rookies with proven help, Sauce Gardner leading the way.
