Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Packers spent pick No. 190 on Fadil Diggs, a name most had 53 spots down the list. Put together, it is a D.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. On value alone, Ayomanor makes the weekend a net positive.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
