Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Packers.

The Packers clearly saw something nobody else did in Que Robinson, taking him 128 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They banked enough surplus on Nelson to cover a lot of smaller sins. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The back end got a real overhaul.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Jack Nelson at the Round 6 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It fills a real need, too.
