There is reaching, and then there is Warren Brinson at the 237th pick. The Packers jumped the board by 57 and dared it to prove them wrong.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Revel Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
