Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Lions spent Round 7, Pick 28 on Drew Kendall, a name most had 50 spots down the list. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Golden at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
