You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Packers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Bortolini left real value on the table behind him.
