You can hear the double-takes from here. The Packers took Marvin Jones Jr. at No. 257, roughly 80 spots before his name belonged. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Slaughter where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
