The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and Slaughter: D.

The Packers lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Carmona to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Slaughter at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
