Draft Grade — Packers
Overall D-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesF FutureB-
The Packers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The Packers clearly saw something nobody else did in Eric O'Neill, taking him 60 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

On value alone, Boerkircher makes the weekend a net positive. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick40 Rnd2 Anthony Hill Jr.
Anthony Hill Jr. in the 40th overall pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick52 Rnd2 Lee Hunter
No drama and no debate, Lee Hunter went about where he belonged in slot 52. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick60 Rnd2 Julian Neal
A premium they did not need to pay, Julian Neal a notch or two before his time. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick95 Rnd3 Omar Cooper Jr.
The board had Omar Cooper Jr. higher than Round 3, Pick 31, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick101 Rnd4 Keylan Rutledge
Keylan Rutledge at No. 101 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick120 Rnd4 Logan Jones
Logan Jones in the 120th pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick125 Rnd4 Davison Igbinosun
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Davison Igbinosun. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick140 Rnd5 Michael Trigg
They will replay Michael Trigg at pick 140 for years; that is how good the value is. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick158 Rnd5 Ted Hurst
Ted Hurst at slot 158 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick169 Rnd5 Rayshaun Benny
Value said wait; Rayshaun Benny in the Round 5 slot says they were not listening. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick199 Rnd6 Eric O'Neill
A real head-scratcher, Eric O'Neill in the 199th overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick210 Rnd6 Nate Boerkircher
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Nate Boerkircher in pick No. 210, plain and simple. The roster fit checks out.
Pick236 Rnd7 Keyron Crawford
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Keyron Crawford well ahead of where he belonged. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick254 Rnd7 Trey Zuhn III
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Trey Zuhn III in the 254th pick. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick257 Rnd7 Nolan Rucci
Nothing to complain about; Nolan Rucci went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
