A costly weekend of dealing drags the Packers to a D-. If confidence were a draft strategy, the Packers would have aced it. Keagen Trost at the 120th overall pick is 37 spots clear of where he belonged. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Caldwell pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
