Draft Grade — Packers
Overall D-
ValueB- NeedB TradesF FutureB-
The Packers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

Nobody else had Trey Zuhn III anywhere near Round 6, Pick 25. The Packers did, by 41 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The Coleman pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick24 Rnd1 Kenyon Sadiq
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get a seam-stretching tight end at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick52 Rnd2 D'Angelo Ponds
D'Angelo Ponds at pick 52 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick84 Rnd3 Jonah Coleman
Jonah Coleman in the 84th pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick120 Rnd4 Tim Keenan III
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Tim Keenan III. It fills a real need, too.
Pick158 Rnd5 Pat Coogan
This one needs a full-page explanation: Pat Coogan in pick No. 158, miles early. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick199 Rnd6 Toriano Pride Jr.
They paid sticker price for Toriano Pride Jr. in the 199th overall pick, and that is fine. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick204 Rnd6 Trey Zuhn III
They reached into another round for Trey Zuhn III, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick236 Rnd7 Bryce Foster
Bryce Foster in No. 236 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick254 Rnd7 Nick Barrett
Nick Barrett in the Round 7 slot is fair value, right on his grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick257 Rnd7 De'Zhaun Stribling
A tidy little value on De'Zhaun Stribling in pick No. 257, a step better than break-even. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
