The Packers cashed the board's mistake on Gabriel: B+.

The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Dillon Gabriel, the No. 132 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 5 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They are betting Garcia proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Ahkello Witherspoon pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
