The Lions turned the phones into found money: B.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Eric Gentry, 135 picks early at the Round 7 slot. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The veteran additions, Tre'Davious White chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
