Nobody else had Carson Steele anywhere near the Round 6 slot. The Bears did, by 44 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Ja'Whaun Bentley leading the way.
