Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Trice: A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

The Trice value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Spending an early pick on safety with running back, linebacker and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
