Larceny in pick 62 lands the Cowboys a B, Wiggins and all.

The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Nate Wiggins, the No. 37 name on the board, sitting there at slot 62 like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Fautanu left real value on the table behind him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Troy Fautanu
In the 30th pick they get protection for the quarterback, reach and all. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick62 Rnd2 Nate Wiggins
Nate Wiggins in pick No. 62 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick93 Rnd3 Tyleik Williams
No drama and no debate, Tyleik Williams went about where he belonged in No. 93. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick130 Rnd4 Cedric Gray
Cedric Gray in pick 130 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
