The Commanders turned the phones into found money: A-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Commanders did exactly that with Korey Foreman in No. 223. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. On value alone, Wheatley makes the weekend a net positive. It is not that Thomas is a bad player; it is that the Commanders had louder needs to answer first.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
