The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Seahawks watched Jaylen Reed slide 57 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Every board in the league had Thornton Jr. lower, and that gap is the story. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
