Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Jets were there to profit. Jawhar Jordan, the No. 209 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 244. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
