Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Emani Bailey got past him. The Jets do not have to explain a thing at the 255th pick. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
