rshah124 DRAFTING FOR THEBears
Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

A franchise passer in Williams headlines a B- weekend for the Bears. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. However the rest shakes out, Corley at that price is a win they earned. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Caleb Williams
In the 1st pick they get their quarterback of the future. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick9
Rnd1
Dallas Turner
In the Round 1 slot they get a problem off the edge at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick75
Rnd3
Malachi Corley
Nice patience on Malachi Corley, who had no business lasting to pick 75. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick122
Rnd4
Tyler Davis
No drama and no debate, Tyler Davis went about where he belonged in slot 122. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
