Call it larceny. Dylan Fairchild sat on the board until the 246th pick, and the Bears did not need to be asked twice.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
