You could see the war room lean forward. Malachi Moore at pick 184 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Reaching for Dellinger left real value on the table behind him. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Saints paired the rookies with proven help, Mike Gesicki leading the way.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
