The Texans fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Texans came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

They are betting Matavao proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Adding O'Cyrus Torrence by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Taylor.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
