Smith at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will answer for taking safety early while quarterback and tight end went begging. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

The Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
