The Seahawks answered their biggest question with Nix. Grade: F.

The Seahawks looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Hayden Hatten at the 236th pick regardless, 107 picks early.

Bo Nix gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker and interior defensive lineman still on the board. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Oladapo. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

In the end, a class that has to defy its grades just to matter.
