The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They are betting Sinnott proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.

In Round 1, Pick 4 they get their guy under center for the next decade. A clean fit for the roster.
