The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Kalen King, the No. 41 name on the board, sitting there at slot 74 like a gift left on the doorstep. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They are betting Williams proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The Cohen pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and edge rusher. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
