You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Tanor Bortolini in slot 122. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
