The Bears let Skattebo fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Cam Skattebo, the No. 113 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 6, Pick 22. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

Every board in the league had Mays lower, and that gap is the story. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
